Tumut River

Welcome to the Tumut, located in the picturesque Riverina region of New South Wales. We are delighted to bring your attention towards the exciting angling opportunities in the area. The Tumut River is a bottom draw tailwater and offers superb fishing for brown and rainbow trout. With an impressive 1800 fish per mile count, the river stretches for 90 miles before meeting the Murrumbidgee River.

We take great pride in offering both float trip and walk and wade trips due to an abundance of spring creeks in the region. Allow us to make your angling excursion a memorable and enjoyable experience.
